Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)
It is a white or light yellow, odorless, non-toxic fibrous or powdered solid, obtained by etherification reaction of alkaline cellulose and ethylene oxide (or chloroethanol), and is a non-ionic soluble cellulose ether.
Due to its good thickening, suspension, dispersion, emulsification, bonding, film-forming, moisture-proof and protective colloid properties, HEC is widely used in oil extraction, coatings, construction, medicine and food, textiles, papermaking, polymer polymerization and other fields. 40 mesh screening rate ≥99%.
